    For single page ‘Landing Page’ sites (often used for simple Paid Advertising campaigns for example), or simply for single page websites which have been coded purely in HTML and will remain static. Please note the basic package does NOT include a form.

    For single page ‘Landing Page’ sites (often used for lead generation Pay Per Click campaigns for example) which includes a form for collecting customer leads (allows customers to fill out their name, number and email which then gets sent to you in an email etc).

SSL Certificate

An SSL Certificate is an added layer of security which encrypts data passed between a user and a website. Sites which have this encryption start their web address with ‘https’ and have a ‘lock’ icon in the address bar.

As well as the added protection, this also gives extra weighting in rankings with the search engines – nice!

We require all sites which host with us to also have an SSL Certificate ‘bolt-on’. The certificate is supplied and set up by us, and billed on an annual basis.

Maintenance Packages

Websites that run on any type of installed software (so a ‘CMS’ based website like WordPress, or any of the plugins which get installed into it) must be kept up to date. Software is constantly being updated by it’s developers to keep it safe against viruses and hacks and so any software on your site which is left too long without being updated to these latest versions will become more and more vulnerable to attack.

It’s essential for you as a business owner to know and understand the importance of keeping your website up to date – this is not just an added cost, but part of the essential ongoing costs of running a secure and fast WordPress website.

**Think of it as buying a car and never changing the brakes or getting it serviced, eventually it will break down and become dangerous.

We require all ‘CMS’ based sites that host with us to have ALL software components (so the CMS itself and ALL plugins and modules) updated every 6 months at a minimum.

**This is not a requirement on pure static HTML pages / Non-CMS sites

6 Monthly Security and Maintenance update

Updates carried out every 6 months (the minimum requirement for hosting with us). This is billed every 6 months upon commencing the update works on your website, the updates carried out are listed below.
  • Update CMS to latest version
  • Update all plugins to latest version
  • Update themes / templates to latest version
  • Update PHP version to latest version
    (as long as all plugins are compatible)
  • Files scanned and checked for
    malicious content
    (up to 1 hours work removing indicated
    malicious files)
